TRUE of FALSE!
When wondering which rumor to run with regarding orders, prices and future expectations within the market from which we derive our income, consider looking at the STEEL INDUSTRY NEWS PAGE on our Local 1899 website. This may not be the clearinghouse for speculators and investors, but it provides substantive, verifiable information to quell those rumors. The sources used are not much different than what industry analysts use to plan for the immediate future. Events within the steel industry change frequently, as do the market analysts' opinions. The reliability for trends that affect our employment and profits, or lack thereof, can be cobbled together from these ever-changing industry sources which are updated on a regular - somtimes daily - basis.

... another good reason to check out your Local Union website!
